Roses are such a wonderful passion to have. Many people feel that they are way too much trouble, but if you go to the rose garden with a glass of wine in one hand and a spray bottle in the other hand, in no time at all you will be feeling ever so much better. I only have 108 rose bushes so far, but spring is coming.

You did it! I love the pink. - Teresa
I took your advice. I got myself a nice glass of wine. I went out to my roses, I was going to be brave, I wasn't going to think of my roses as being difficult. and as I stood there I realized I don't have any roses!!! Oh well, the wine was lovely!!
Congrats on your first post!! :)
Oh my gosh, 108 bushes!! That seems like a lot to me but I'm not a gardener... my mom is though! She loves flowers, but mostly dahlias. Those seem like so much work also. Every year she is digging up the bulbs and replanting them in the spring. But they are always very beautiful.
"Goodbye," said the fox. "And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." "What is essential is invisible to the eye," the little prince repeated, so that he would be sure to remember. "It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important." "It is the time I have wasted for my rose..." said the little prince, so that he would be sure to remember. "Men have forgotten this truth," said the fox. "But you must not forget it. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed. You are responsible for your rose..." "I am responsible for my rose," the little prince repeated, so that he would be sure to remember.

Roses are red...
I hope to have a rose garden soon, when I do get my own garden. My mom is not patient w/roses so I don't know much about taking care of them. So when I do get a garden I'll need all the help I can get. My favorite colors for roses are orange and purple.
